Like all other online services, domain name owners are given a set of logins to manage their domain name. But it isn’t as easy to use as it sounds. Imagine if you have a domain name registered 10 years ago, and it has passed through several hands, what if you needed to login now?
Linguaphone turned to us recently. We’ve helped them to restore the login and switching their DNS servers to a more reliable one, fully managed by us.
In short, management of a domain name should cover:
1. House keeping WHOIS information
2. Maintain a reliable DNS servers
3. Collecting renewal
1.com.my is managing more than 500 domain name, contact us today!
Wow. Do 1.com.my offer mynic domain reseller? i would be looking one since mynic are closing their new reseller application for the moment. huhu..
Forget to mention, do we actually need to contact our existing registrar before migrating? please assist. thanks
No, 1.com.my is not a MyNIC reseller. We didn’t go for it because our volume is still relatively lower.
There is a slightly difference between .com and .com.my.
MyNIC appointed domain name reseller. But such resellers are considered Billing Contact, not Registrar. So, basically there are only one registrar who handle .my registration, which is MyNIC. Therefore, no such thing as transfer of registrar for .my domain name. Only change of Billing contact, or registrant, etc.
There are more than one registrar for .com domain names. For example, Network Solution, OnlineNIC, WebNIC are Registrars. So, in this case, transfer of registrar is possible.
I hope I answer your questions correctly :)
Ok. Correctly answered and understood. Btw Pin, good response you have there. hehe :-)
