Amtek, a leading global precision metal stamping and tooling specialist, registered amtek.my to better reflect their corporate identity. We studied and planned the migration for Amtek. The challenge - every user should continue receiving their old kriscom.com.my email at their new email address under amtek.my. There are 150 users altogether.

We started by creating the forwarding rules using email alias. Both email domains use the DNS servers managed by us. To bypass any possible downtime caused by DNS propagation, we setup the same pointing records in both the old and the new DNS servers during the DNS address change.

Working closely with the technical team from Amtek, the name amtek.my is now in use and running perfectly!

The migration of Furniweb Group hosted email solution was done successfully without any downtime and interruption to all their users in various regions.

Furniweb Group, an industry leader and internationally recognized webbing products available in more than 30 countries, decided to migrate all their 120 users from 8 different domains to our hosted email solution.

Our team studied and came out with the migration plan with full cooperation from the MIS team of Furniweb. Existing user preferences and settings are taking into consideration. Migration starts by setting up all email users in our new email servers.

With helps from existing email service provider, the MX records was updated and the pointing new email starts to route to the new email servers. The next step, all Furniweb DNS address will be changed to a more reliable one with dedudancy support. To avoid the DNS Propagation, the new DNS server will have identical pointing pre-defined!
