Last week, one of our customer had decided to migrate their web infrastructure to our data centre for a more reliable solution. The challenge includes moving servers of a distance more than 400km, with both servers hosted more than 20 websites.

To begin with the process, all websites were pointed to a temporarily server-in-maintenance page. One team collected both servers while another delivered it to the new data centre without any delay. It took 15 hours and finally the servers were up again smoothly. Well, a stop at Old Town for a recharge is crucial!

There are numbers of ways to turn your website into piles of cash, and the best know how to do it in a way...

There are numbers of ways to turn your website into piles of cash, and the best know how to do it in a way that won’t scare off visitors. Here are 5 suggested way to monetize your website.

1. Sell product
Product is the essence of your company. Study what does your visitor want, build the brand and sell it!

2. Sell ad space
If yours happens to become a well-known site, or one that is well-received in a particular niche, it’s always possible to sell ad space on your own. It’s important to use multiple display ad networks to get more variety from your ads, to not let any one network control your inventory, and to make sure you’re earning the most amount of money possible.

3. Contextual advertising
For lesser-known blogs, services such as Google’s AdSense enable bloggers to establish ad programs.AdSense’s, which lets you select several ads that are consistent with the content of your blog, pays you based on how many readers click on the ads for further information. Even better, it’s free!

4. Sell text link
Services like Text Link Ads or Adbrite sell text ads directly to companies. This is pretty low effort and often doesn’t take up too much space on a site, so it’s easy to implement and try out. It should be noted though that you need significant traffic for it to be a big source of income.

5. Affiliate program
Affiliation enable your website to serve as a conduit between visitors and online sites offering various goods and services. Keep affiliate programs reader-friendly by sharing only products that are truly relevant to your discussion and not going overboard with the quantity.
