“Thank you so much for all of your support for this year’s run. As part of the organizing committee, I am always surprised and amazed at the number of people that come out and participate in this extremely worthwhile event. We could not make it a success without all of you and we hope to make it bigger and better in 2009. See you again next year.” Said Terry Watkins.

This was a wonderful event! Went with my mum, brothers, friends, colleagues, bought the t-shirts in bulk! It was simply memorable, running for charity! Air was fresh early in the morning, a good time-out from daily hectic schedule….
Will definitely get my family and friends to participate again next year!
Thumbs up to the organisers!
Cheers!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, We are new to KL (August) and being Canadian it was great to tell her about Terry (she’s 6) The only thing we had trouble with, was actually knowing where to go for the actual run (the pathways around the Lakes) We turned left at the lights instead of right and had to drive for miles creeping along, squeezing between triple parked cars praying no one would be coming the other way as there was no other way out but forward. Anyway, we were off to a late start but had great fun and stayed for hours after to picnic, explore the deer park and of course the great playgrounds. The only thing I might suggest is to have (“Terry Fox Run – this way”) signs posted 500 meters then 100 meters from the lights in both directions.
Otherwise, fantastic day, fantastic organisation and fantastic turnout. We’ll see you again next year!
hey….
so :(, no pixies of me and my gang! i managed to coax them into coming to the envent, just the night before. i am damn happy that they actually turn up. it was a great day for all of us.
Really enjoyed this run! This is my third Terry Fox run and I hope that I will be able to join every year. I was so excited about this event. I have been telling all my colleagues about it. This event is just simply great! But I would prefer to have it a bit earlier, 7am, so that it is not so hot.
The event is purely superb!

Hi all,
It’s really uplifting to see yet another year of success for the TF Run. Unfortunately, I missed it it this year due to some unforeseen circumstances. Nevertheless, I’m happy to see the unfailing support that all have given to the TF Run year after year.
Well, I guess the regulars have known about this event but I did realise that the publicity done for this event is insufficient. The event got all the hype just barely one month before the event. Perhaps the organizing team can start doing publicity few months ahead, make it known and heard to all!
I have been also scouring for events in KL/Klang Valley area and found that there were just too many runs and walks and marathons in the months of Oct-Nov. In fact, at one point I am asking myself which I should I participate since some of them were being held on the same day.
Anyway all, hope to see more participation from all walks of life. Good work there! God bless all the good works done.
Regards.

We didnt come with any cumbersome gadgets as we were the ‘kiasu’ runners :) As it was our first time there, we didnt know what to expect. Nonetheless we were singing phrases for the event and looking forward to next year’s.
