An online business is so often looked upon as something setup-once and auto-pilot. We are approached by so many customers who walked in and tell us to create another e-Bay for them.

In most cases, we ended up talking to them to drop the ideas. They’re just not ready. You will be surprised that many of them do not even buy anything online before.

A web developer can only deliver a website, not an online business. A smart web consultant will start their own business than doing it for you.

No one than you know your business better. To help yourself, spare a little time for this free 36-pages guide before you start.

Sure. Hakim. In short, we will explore the goal of the website, who are the target customers and how to convert them. See, it is not much on the website that creates the conversion, but rather the business model.

Thanks for the free information. I think the basic of online business is surely knowing how to operate a website or blog. Most online business depends on the success of the site.

Hi Farid, I must admit. I never like CPanel. It sounds like a Windows’ System Restore which never work. We have a Control Panel for all web hosting client which I am sure you will like it (http://www.1.com.my/2008/10/29/how-to-use-web-hosting-control-panel/). Our web hosting comes with free WP installation. Default WP theme is used. You can tell us what theme you like and our team will be happy to install it for you free of charge during the installation. To order, check this out http://www.1.com.my/order-web-hosting

so it will be no problem if I get the wp theme coding at pass it to your team to install it?

What is the different between cpanel and control panel? You not using a linux?

    Thanks

Sure, just tell us where to download the theme. See, CPanel is designed as a GUI to manage Linux server, instead of using command prompt. While it solves a problem, but also create another. Put it this way, Dreamweaver allows everyone to create their website with WYSIWYG, instead of manual coding. While it is quick, but it is proven not able to tackle problems like different screen and web browser compatibility problems. Well, CPanel can mess up what a supposed-to-be simple commands. Come back to our Control Panel, it is designed for you to manage YOUR hosting account, not the server :)

Your hosting account is in hybrid mode. You can switch between Linux and Windows anytime, without extra cost or subscribe to other package.

Develop your system takes time. Setup a Blog first. Post your ideas, get feedback and build your traffic. I am sure you can’t wait to launch your website. Ask yourself what is the goal and how you want to achieve it. Write it down, take action. Test and measure ;)
