I think if you talk about ecommerce provider in Malaysia, Lot.my is simply the best. Very professional looking e-commerce store and yet it’s free with string attached!
more and more ecommerce providers in Malaysia now, some of them even use the wordpress engine + shopping cart plug-in and still call it “ecommerce solutions”
In my opinion, a good ecommerce solution provider is able to understand the client needs, advise the clients on the targeted markets, and advise them to promote the ecommerce website – which I always emphasize. A ecommerce site will not automatically get sales/income for you if you don’t promote the website. Some popular channels include PPC, SEO or social networking sure can generate traffic for the e-commerce site.
Agreed no more, James. The huge hurdle for e-commerce providers are understanding respective customer’s industry before any advise can be given.
A lot of time, I noticed that e-commerce providers are over-promising. They shouldn’t be the one who drive the business for their customer, what more in an unknown industries to them.
