Eric OyeI did my intern at 1.com.my from 2004 Dec til 2005 May (5months) for Uni industrial training purposes. I learned a lot from 1.com.my about the subject that relate to my course such as HTML, PHP. Beside that, i do learn something about server, on that time, i was still a fresh student that dunno anything about server. But Earnpin taught me from 11pm til the next morning 6am, he taught me patiencely and i do appreciate that a lot. Through the training i had, i do meet lots of problem and did solve with the help of the colleague here. They are so friendly and willing to help all the time, we do enjoy the working hours together with happiness and laughther.

After i graduated from UTAR, i proceed on the ONE month traning for system admin position that dealing with server and other teachnical supports. Currently, i was the permanent stuff at 1.com.my, i’m happy to work at here with challenge and thanks for Poh Kan that taught me lots of things regarding the job i done now.

So everyone out there, come qucikly to join this company, you will never regret!!

Shu ShanI’ve heard of many of my friends having terrible experience during their internship.
there were some that are
not paid, nobody cares how many MRT stations, tols you passes daily to get to work…
trained to used their academic knowledge in unrelated field…
Some are not trained at all, you are on your own…
forced to bring their own Computers, Chair, Table?!!?
observed through cctv throughout working hours??!!

i’ve got luck to be assigned to 1.com.my
for me, it’s a place where you really learn up something.
There is someone who wiling to share their experience and knowledge with you…
There is 4pm tea time break where you can find a lot of funny jokes…
There is people that you can look up to, for their professionalism…

i seriously want to take this chance to thank everyone in 1.com.my that give me this wonderful memory.

long live WESO ~

First of all, would like to take this opportunity to congrat the team for their succesful team spirit that earn them the MSC status. Kudos to the team. Secondly, would like to express my deepest gratitude to the company for bringing me up.

From being an intern, up til joining the team and leaving the team, it has always been a part of my memorable life journey. It is not easy to join in an experience company while you are just born to no where in the industry. Luckily I was given an opportunity to outpace myself.

Teaming up with Ern Pin, Wan Ching, Poh Kan, Cyberia and Fanny for my first batch of team mates, we work the day out. The first and most memorable day would be the day of my first in the company. Receiving the task of finalising MIC website, we spent the hours working til late. It is a ‘great first day’ experience I guess. But think back, this is where my training ground starts.

Albeit changing team mates with another few batches, I learnt a lot from those experience. Sharpening my programming skill under Wan Ching lead, project management and leader skill under the nose of Ern Pin, team spirit with all the rest of others, it indeed carve a path for myself. I would not suprise I am a product of theirs all this while. Sound serious but this is the fact.

It has been hills and mounts during this year. They have excel in their niche with their hard earn effort recognised. I am proud of them especially with the focus and spirit. I am glad I was once a part of them. To be frank, they proove one thing in mind, “to be first” is what it should be.

Although now I was not be able to contribute my effort towards the team, I am looking forward for that day where I am able to do so once more. Last but not least, thank you for all those memorable for bringing me up all this while. Appreciate and hope we will be able to work together once more as a family. Have a great day and voila and cheer for you all.

DavidMy stint as an intern at 1.com.my had enriched my life in many ways. The hospitality shown by all staffs ensured that I fit in comfortably in the company. Team spirit was excellent, as every individual worked within his and her own field of expertise. As an intern, I did not only get to learn, but also contribute, apply and share my knowledge with the staffs. They are more than happy to teach you if you’re eager to learn.

1.com.my is a company that welcomes ideas and contributions from its team members. It is certainly not a company that segregates trainees from permanent employees. The entire company is in fact a team that is constantly on the lookout for ideas and contributions, regardless of your employment status. Therefore if you think you are a team player, look no further and drop 1.com.my a line.

To all future Industrial Trainees / Internship Students, don’t miss out on this great chance to learn ‘great’ things that you’ll never ever learn in your College / University!

Trust me, I’ve been in this company and within those short little 3 months and 2 weeks, I was able to find out that there’s more to what we learn back in our College / University!

So, what are you guys waiting for? Post your comments here now or better yet, e-Mail it to job@1.com.my now and get instant response from 1.com.my :)

HennyI had my internship for 3 months plus in 1.com.my and learned a lot from there, from Pin himself and from other collegues. I was grateful for their guidance and patience. Pin was kind enough to share his experience to us. At first I was quite anxious as it was my first time working and I thought everything was going to be hard and strict and guess what? Everything is totally different from what I’ve expected. Everyone is fun and friendly.

For those who are looking for internship, you may call my partner at Aspati, En Hisamudin if he can take in more interns for the Eilham project (interns would be located in the MITEC lab, MMU Cyberjaya). En Hisham’s number is 0123149061, and quote my name (zahir).

You could also look at the programme itself and see if it could benefit you.

I learned a lot from here, especially my email skill :P Things that you’ve never learnt in school, you will get all over here. Not only coding and designing, but also communication skill, management skill, marketing skill, psychology (whoaa~), and BBQ skill (This I like the most :D). Everyone is so nice and friendly. They are so willing to teach, so willing to share. The keyword is — ASK.
